Description The aim of this study is to assess and define common ocular manifestations and their percentage in confirmed neurofibromatosis 2 cases to aid ophthalmologists in their practice. Background: Neurofibromatosis 2 (NF-2) is an autosomal dominant phakomatoses condition with variable expressivity. Its prevalence is 1 /25.000, which is less common than neurofibromatosis 1 (1/3,000). It has neurological, dermal, and ocular manifestation. Systemically, the significant features for NF2 are acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, gliomas and schwannomas. The ocular presentations of NF2 have been documented as posterior subcapsular or cortical cataract, hamartoma of the Retinal pigment epithelium and retina.
