Description This study was done to retrospectively review two cases of patients who had undergone optic nerve sheath fenestration and had a delayed postoperative presentation of an optic nerve cyst that had developed at the surgical site In the literature, there are descriptions of cysts developing at the site of optic nerve sheath fenestration noted incidentally on imaging, however there no cases presenting as delayed complications after surgery with proptosis, pain, and or decreased vision.
