Description |
Reports of optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging of patients with lysosomal storage diseases presenting with cherry- red spots (CRS) are scarce, since patients are often too young to cooperate with imaging protocols. Recent advances in handheld OCTs have allowed for imaging of very young patients. We report OCT characteristics of CRS from Tay-Sachs and Niemann-Pick disease. |
