Abstract |
US Army Foot Soldier's personal photograph taken of the photographer in front of an US Army Jeep. While on the march to Berlin, the soldiers would take the German highway, the Autobahn. Many of the overpasses were bombed out so Allied trucks could not travel through. Many times the trucks and Jeeps would go off the highway and around the destruction, then get back on the Autobahn and proceed on. |
