Description Osteogenic sarcoma is a highly malignant tumor characterized by a sarcomatous fibroblastic stroma in which osteoblastic activity has induced the formation of tumor osteoid and bone. This definition excludes fibrosarcomas and chondrosarcomas that arise in bone but do not produce either matrix or bone structure.
