Creel. These Indians apparently are widely distributed, but I shall expect you to see as many of them as practicable, and then make a report on their number, location, vocations, lands, mode 01 life, their condition and environment. A specia3 inquiry must be made as to the efiectiveness and vaiue of the present administrative plan of looking after their interests. If the present plan of supervision is not the best which can be devised, what suggestions do you make for changing it; if satisfactory, wherein does it measure up to the standard oi' good results, or wherein should it be changed or modified the better to adapt it to the purpose for which it is intended? |
