Description |
Johannes Huber was born November 1, 1840 in Dodtnacht, Thurgau, Switzerland. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on May 4, 1860. His father's name was Johannes Schonholzer and his mother's name was Elizabeth Huber. He entered plural marriage and settled in Midway, Wasatch, Utah, which was still the Utah Territory at that time. He raised his famiy there and put 10 children to work in the apple orchard. This orchard has now become a State Park because of the Apple Trees that are still bearing fruit some 120 years later. |
