A large crane lowers a large bucket of concrete over the foundation of the Mountain State Telephone office being constructed next to the Vernal City Office on North Vernal Avenue. Cost of the building is estimated at $350,000 a part of a &1,700,000 distance dialing telephone system to be in operation by August 1962. The St. James Catholic Church is in the background. |
