Description Digitized copy of an audiocassette recording of an interview between Fawn McKay Brodie and Edmund G. "Pat" Brown on July 9, 1980. Brown was governor of California from 1959 to 1967. This interview was part of Brodie's research for her 1981 book, Richard Nixon: The Shaping of His Character. Utah native Fawn Brodie was a history professor and biographer who published several books about historical figures, including Thomas Jefferson, Joseph Smith, and Richard Nixon.
