Description The purpose of this study is to report a unique chronic progressive external ophthalmoplegia (CPEO)-like disorder in HIV infected patients undergoing long-term treatment with highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), and to further describe factors that may provide insight into the pathogenesis.
