Lymphoma (Kennerdell Case 22, PPT)

History: A 67-year-old man presented with a painless right proptosis and partial ptosis of three months duration. Anatomy: Orbit. Disease Diagnosis: Lymphoma. Pathology: Fine needle aspiration biopsy of the right superior orbital lesion revealing abnormal lymphocytes consistent with a lymphomatous lesion of the right orbit. Presenting Symptom: Painless right proptosis and partial ptosis. Neuroimaging: Ultrasound showing an irregular superior mass behind the right globe. CT scan showing a temporal superior mass in the right orbit on axial scan. CT scan shows a mass in the region of the left superior orbit. Coronal appearance of orbits following control with radiotherapy showing single mass in the right superior orbit in the region of the levator superior rectus complex. Treatment: 2400 rads radiation therapy in 10 divided doses in each orbit.
