Show is the opinion of some of these Indians that they are bound by ths contract with the attorneys named and that they must first secure a release from them before they can rightfully negotiate an attorneys' contract with any one else. It is respectfully requested that the Office search in its files for the contract and other papers in connection with the elains ot these Indians and fully inform the Superintendent in the premises. If these people are not legally bound by he agreement with Messrs.
