Description |
Arden Stewart, commander of post nine of the American Legion, won a free trip to the National Executive Committee meeting at Indianapolis, Indiana in May of 1961. Arden had been with the American Legion since 1953. Arden was born to Henry (Hank) and Elsie Stewart on May 10, 1925. He served in World War II. He married Donna Rae Chivers on November 22, 1949. He served as Uintah County Sheriff for 16 years. He died May 12, 2015. |
