Some of the letters touch on the disagreements that Mr. Eccles, then chairman of the Federal Reserve, had with President Harry S Truman. Also includes a printed copy of an address by James A. Farley, executive with the Coca-Cola Export Corporation before the Chamber of Commerce of Lynchburg, Virginia, 15 January 1948. That speech discussed economic conditions, the economic competition of the Cold War, and the Marshall Plan for Europe. |
