Description |
Toxoplasma is a common cause of chorioretinitis (1). Optic disc edema is a rare manifestation of ocular toxoplasmosis with reported rates ranging from 5.3% to 14.4%, occurring in association with either peripapillary or more remote retinal lesions (2-3). We present a case of isolated unilateral disc edema with the subsequent development of a peripapillary chorioretinal lesion, consistent with acute toxoplasmosis. |
