Includes an agenda for the Interstate Conference of Employment Security Agencies held in September of 1952 in Salt Lake City (Mr. Eccles gave an address on Sept. 17th); agenda for the annual meeting of the American Institute of Accountants held in Houston, Texas, in October of 1952 (Mr. Eccles spoke on October 17th about "Reserve Board policy viewed in the light of present problems"); typed program for a meeting of the Rotary Club of Seattle on Oct. 22nd (Mr. Eccles spoke on "Problems of defense and inflation"); a 7-page typescript speech by Reno Odlin given at the annual banking conference of the Oregon Bankers Association in Portland on Oct. 11th. These speeches were extemporaneous, and there are no copies of the text. |
