Naval Supply Depot (N.S.D.), Clearfield, Utah, 1945. From The Seagull, 10-12-55. Gruesome Toothsomes, arrayed on the bench are several partial dentures of various designs including one for cleft palate which, besides providing a base for missing teeth, also forms a covering for the roof of mouth. Lt. Comdr. A.L. Moulton, at the machine, completes a metal design for a lower partial plate (upper right). |
