Located on the north side of Vernal's Main Street in the 100 East block are the Style Shop, a story for young children and adolscents and ladies apparel. It was owned by Louise Walker and LaDonna Merkley. The Vernal Drug had an assortment of products. The pharmacy was ran by Glenn Cooper, Glade Watkins and Harvey Madsen. It also had a lunch counter and served a variety of food for lunches and snacks. It was owned by Glenn Cooper. Carpets by Cals was owned and operated by Cal Sorensen. His son has taken over the business (2015) still today and still installing various types of flooring in homes and businesses. |
