Additional Information "Owachomo Natural Bridge is an old meander natural bridge eroded through Cedar Mesa Sandstone by a now abandoned channel of Tuwa Canyon Creek. It is considered old for two reasons: the watercourse that help form it has abandoned the opening for a shorter path; the lintel has begun to lose its inverse catenary shape. It has a span of 180 feet and a height of 86 feet as measured with precision laser equipment by Jay Wilbur on October 16, 2007."--www.naturalarches.org
