Physicians and staff at University of Utah Hospital will demonstrate how a major trauma center handles a mass influx of patients tomorrow afternoon (Saturday, Sept. 11) as part of a mock airplane crash at Salt Lake International Airport. The hospital expects to receive 15-20 simulated patients with serious injuries between 4:15-4:45 p.m. by helicopter, ambulance and bus. |
