Description |
"Major technological and scientific progress has been made in the University of Utah Hospital's in vitro fertilization program since it began in 1983," according to Douglas T. Carrell, Ph.D., assistant professor of urology and director of andrology/embryology for the Utah Center for Reproductive Medicine. Carrell, who joins sperm and eggs in the laboratory for childless couples, says the constantly improving technology and a team approach to resolving infertility problems have resulted in more than 350 babies in the last 14 years. |
