Description U.S. gold-medal figure skater Dorothy Hamill was treated at University of Utah Hospital and released early Sunday morning after sustaining minor injuries during rehearsal for the closing ceremonies of the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Hamill fell and hit her chin and throat on a stage light Saturday night while she was skating into an artificial fog bank. Before being taken to the emergency room at University Hospital, where a CT scan revealed no serious injuries, Hamill honored a commitment to SLOC
