Description Automatic external defibrillators (AEDs)-medical devices used to shock a stopped heart back into a beating rhythm-have, until now, been available only to highly trained medical personnel. In November, however, more than 20 public sites in Utah will have their employees trained on easy-to-use defibrillators that could save lives.
