Description Stain: May-Grnwald-Giemsa (MGG). The neutrophilic metamyelocyte is differentiating nearly to a juvenile unsegmented (band form) neutrophil, but the nuclear chromatin is only partly condensed. Hardly visible dust-like granules can be observed in the still pale bluish cytoplasm.
