Description Welcome in a New Year and Contemplate the Past. As we move through life, we each have our own unique paths and changes. Sometimes we do not recognize these changes and just pass through all of the ups and downs, but sometimes life affords us a moment to pause and contemplate the past and special moments we have arrived at, like this New Year. As you pass through the tight spots and changing arches and take note of some of the challenges you have passed through in life, see some things end and some new beginnings, we invite you take few moments to sit and contemplate the special moments that you pass through in life. Nearly all of the wood used in this project is recycled from various construction and other projects in the Salt Lake Valley and will be recycled again afterward. Just as things in our past are not always in perfect condition, they also can be viewed in a new light to create something of beauty. We hope this installation gives you a chance to contemplate the past and look forward to the future of life's path.
