Description Time passes along a string while making repetitive loops. The rising and setting of the sun is the same day after day along a time line that stretches forever. We fit into this cyclical rhythm, aware that our song is finite. Rituals evolve to help us cope with the finiteness of our lives, the cycle of passing time, and the change flowing through all of it. The timewire project is a fun exploration of ritual associated with the passage of time, an experience in movement, rhythm, and space. participants pass round pieces along a wire tube and through supports. The center piece, where the two wire tubes meet, is a large tree trunk. Starting from there, The supports become different aspects of tree form representing some various uses of wood along a period of time. Timewire is made of salvaged wood and is completely reusable and recyclable.
