Is the air quality along the Wasatch Front unhealthy, unaes-thetic, demoralizing, economically repressive, a reason to sell your house and move out of state, the legislature's fault, a so-cial injustice, your children's problem, punishment from God or all of the above? If these questions are keeping you up at night, come find some answers. Dr. Brian Moench is the founder and current president of the Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment UPHE). He completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University and the University of Utah and went to medical school at the University of Utah. He did a residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Formerly, he was an instructor in anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He is the past chairman of the Department of Anesthesia at Holy Cross Hospital and is currently in private practice at LDS Hospital in anesthesia. Steger Center Green Bag: September 25 12:15 p.m. |
