Electric Power in a Carbon Constrained World

This conference addresses four aspects of electric power generation related to government efforts to reduce carbon emissions from this industry. The first panel will discuss the role of coal-fired electric power generation; the second panel will deal with the rapidly growing natural gas industry and the role of natural gas for generating electricity; the third panel will focus on the use of alternative energy to produce electricity; and the fourth panel will address the role of nuclear electric power.
