Description Street-level view (looking east): Brigham Street / a.k.a. South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, July 19, 1909. View includes residence of Thomas and Jennie Kearns at 603 East South Temple. The home later became the Governor's Mansion of the state of Utah. Thomas Kearns (April 11, 1862 - October 18, 1918) was a mining, banking, railroad and newspaper magnate. He was a United States Senator from Utah from 1901 to 1905. Shipler Photography #9531.
