(Charles Edwin) Loose (Provo banker and a owner of mining and industrial companies); Mr. M.S. (Matthew Sandefur) Browning (vice president of Ogden's Browning Arms Company); Apostle John Henry Smith (of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and president of the Utah Constitutional Convention in 1895). Sitting: David Mattson (newly elected Secretary of State, succeeding C.D. Tingey); Governor William Spry; Anthon H. Lund (who was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the death of John Henry); Attorney General A.R. Barnes and Mr. John Dern (banker and leading Salt Lake businessman). Painting by J. W. (John Willard) Clawson of Salt Lake City. The painting hangs in the Capitol Board Room of Utah State Capitol.
