| Description |
Looking south at debris and sediment deposition (ranging up to 3 feet in depth) on the alluvial fan at the mouth of Yance Canyon. Notice fine sediments deposited on irrigated pasture and hay fields southeast and south west of buildings (just north of State Highway). Runoff caused by severe cloudburst (less than 1 hour duration) of August 16, 1958. Photo by Dick Leisher, S.C.S., 8/20/58 (2 miles east of Morgan). |
