Mary Emma Chisholm Bennett for whom the Emma Mine was named. She was born in Winoma, Minnesota, May 5, 1858, and died in Geneva, Illinois, on July 16, 1911. According to Gordon Chisholm Bennett, she and her four brothers were the owners of the Centennial Eureka Mine, as well as others in that area. William Wallace Chisholm of 644 South Temple, Salt Lake City, was the manager and co-owner of these properties. |
