This is a fossil mammal skull, jaw and foot. It is not from Dinosaur National Monument, but is from west or south of the monument. The teeth appear to be those of the rhino, Sphenocoelus or Metarhinus, but are heavily worn (old individual). It comes from the Uinta Formation and numerous specimens were collected by Earl Douglass for the Carnegie Museum.. |
