Description The Ute Mountain Look-out Tower was built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC). The tower is situated on the top of Ute Mountain in Daggett County. It was designed and built for the detection of forest fires. The observer in the tower could see over 360 square miles of the northeastern slope of the Uinta Mountain Range.
