Soren Niels Nielson and Clara Melissa Braithwaite Nielson. Both were born in Manti, Utah, in 1892. This was taken in 1911 when both were 19 years of age. Soren was raised by the Elic Barton family from the time he was four years old, as his mother died and his father was on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The couple was married on September 4, 1912, shortly after this photo was taken.
