Description An unidentified, Native American man poses in ceremonial dress for a full-length, studio portrait. He wears a feather headdress tied under his chin and a woven blanket draped over his shoulders and reaching the floor. A thin stick resembling an arrow with feathers protrudes from his headdress. He holds a pipe in his left hand. A large, beaded pouch hangs from his hip next to a thinner pouch with a cluster of hair dangling from it. He wears beaded moccasins. His long ; braids fall to his waist and are tied with beaded straps. Talons hang from straps that dangle from his headdress
