We havo depended for our mailing list upon such organizations as commercial clubs and the Utah development league, adding the names of all inquirers and interested parties of whom we hear. It is entirely possible, however, that if the services of professional real estate boomers were secured, even though they had a personal interest in the sale and exacted a commission in each case, it might still further the net results derived from the sale of this land. I have heretofore questioned the wisdom of resorting to such means but I am by no means sure that I am right by so doing. I had reasoned that the hundred miles of desert to be traversed and the limited hotel accommodations and transportation facilities were prohibitive obstacles in the way^f having successful auction sale3. I do not believe that an adequate number of purchasers can be gotten into this basin at one time for a successful auction sale; neither do I believe that purchasers who might be assembled in a city. Say Salt lake or Provo, would risk paying an adequate price for these* lands without having seen them. I have thought best to depend, upon the constant,.3teady though limited stream of prospective settlers who are coming into the basin /to become interested in and purchase thi3 land.
