Show Note # 2. James Hamilton: The home of this witness is on Montezuma Creek, in San Juan County, Utah, about nine miles west of the Colorado state line. His post- office address, as near as possible to ascertain, is McSlmo, Montezuma County, Colorado. It might be Aneth, Utah. Note # 3. Henry Goodman: A Ute Indian, living on the Navajo Springs Indian Reservation, Montezuma County, Colorado, commonly known by the name given. The enrolled name of Job Armstrong, or Quin- chitz, or Quin- segar, has been inserted in the subpoena in the belief that he is one and the same man. Note #^> Unofficial information has been received by the undersigned that the name of the post office of Navaho Springs, Colorado, has been recently changed to To- wa- oc, and the name of the Navajo Springs Indian Reservation to the Ute Mountain Indian Reservation. ITote # 5- John B. McGauran is United States Surveyor General, Denver, Colorado; R. K. Allen is chief clerk of that office; the offices of both are in the Railroad Building, 152.5 Larimer Street, Denver, Colorado. McGauran* s residence is 1729 Curtis Street, Denver, Colorado. Allen's residence is 23^ 2 Dexter Street, Denver, Colorado. Henry L. Price is Acting Custodian of the Court House and Post Office Building, Denver, Colorado. His office is in that building. His residence is Room 200 at 1^ 5& Court Place, Denver. Arthur F. Ogle's Denver address is Burwood Hotel, Denver. Claude C. Covey is Superintendent of the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, at Fort Yates, North Dakota. Mrs. Myrle W. Covey is his wife, whose home is the same place, but who has been subpoenaed at Jamestown, Indiana. Note # 6. Samuel WaymarJs home is at or near Youngs-ville, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico.
