Additional Information Image was scanned from color slide. Note: "Noh (Nō)...is a major form of classical Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century...Noh performance is extremely codified, and regulated by the iemoto system, with an emphasis on tradition rather than innovation..."--Wikipedia. Note: Nara Park (Nara Koen) is a large park in central Nara. Established in 1880, it is the location of many of Nara's main attractions including: Todaiji (Great Eastern Temple), Kasuga Taisha (Kasuga Grand Shrine), Kofukuji Temple and the Nara National Museum. The park is home to hundreds of freely-roaming deer. These deer have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a natural treasure.--Japan Guide website. Note: Nara's new public hall is located in Nara Park. Inside the public hall is a Noh theater.
