Major shrine located on the north coast of Amanohashidate and also called Tango Ichi no Miya. Shinden is a generic term for major buildings within a Shinto shrine in which religious figures are ensconced. Amanohashidate is a pine-covered sand spit whose name means "bridge to heaven."
