Subject |
INL; Criminal |
Description |
The text of the Criminal Procedure Code does not require 2 witnesses in order for a court to be able to convict. Practice in some courts may however be different - often with good reason relating to the dangers of reliance upon confessions or secret informants. The Code does not require witness testimony at all but does say that one testimony is not considered sufficient without corroborating evidence or a confession. That corroborating evidence need not be witness testimony and can be in the form of documentary or scientific or medical evidence. onfidence building amongst the judiciary may be required in order to increase eliance by the courts on medical and scientific evidence. بجي هل تحليف المتهم عند أستجوابه لأعتماد أفادته آدليل؟ |
