Sally (Sarah) Nelson recounts her life, beginning with her childhood in Southern California, where she began piano lessons at age six and later learned the organ and flute, often playing in orchestras and choirs like the Civic Symphony. She describes growing up during World War II, enduring blackout drills near Long Beach, and a serious two-month hospitalization with Diphtheria. After marrying Orson Nelson in 1958, she eventually moved to Price, Utah, in 1978 to care for his parents, bringing her lifelong passion for music with her. She emphasizes her extensive service within the LDS Church and community, including her favorite calling as an Early Morning Seminary Teacher, and her ongoing work teaching piano for over 74 years, a profession she continues into her late 80s.;
