Description Ready to jump out of a DC-3 doorway are two smoke jumpers demonstrating their technique. The chute cords are fastened to the plane to open the main parachute at the right time. If this fails they can manually pull the cord on the emergency chute worn in front. Fire fighting equipment on the floor will be dropped separately as needed.
