Description Wife of second territorial governor, Alfred Cumming. Born in 1811 in Boston, MA. She came to Utah uninvited, unwelcome, and opposite in her beliefs from most who lived in Utah. She found common ground and respect among the women she befriended in Utah. She lived in Utah for 4 years. Julie also talked about her great grandmother and how she was a ranchhand and also lady like. She passed her jewelry to Julie's nieces. Julie shared advice that she received from her grandpa and shared her advice in life. Growing up in Roy, Utah. Reconnecting with her friends group, one died by suicide.
