Affiliated with the Venture Church Network (formerly the Conservative Baptist Association). The congregation resulted from a merger of two churches organized by the Conservative Baptist Association Home Missions Society: Valley West Baptist (organized in 1964 as Faith Baptist Church) and Sonrise Christian Fellowship (formed in 1983 in West Jordan. The latter met in rented space in West Jordan until the 1994 merger, when the Valley West building in West Valley City (built in 1990) became their home. |
