Subject
Square wave jerks
Description
Seen here is a typical example of square wave jerks (SWJ) in normal speed and slow motion. SWJ are characterized by small saccadic intrusions that move the fovea a few degrees away from the object of regard, which is followed by a short inter-saccadic interval, and then a saccade back to fixation. Oscillopsia is rare with typical SWJ.
