This amount is the rem.aining 5% of the 1959 entitlement which was not available to pay the full 100% to the school districts. It is my intention to introduce an amendment to H. Utah) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WASHINGTON, - Senator Frank E. Moss (D-Utah) Tuesday announced cosponsorship of an amendment to the Health, Education and Welfare appropriations bill to increase funds for maintenance of schools in Federally aile cted areas. Senator Moss said: t'For many years, to Congress has appropriated funds help pay the cost of education in areas whose financial burdens are increased by the need to provide schools for the children of Federal employees, and by the fact that Federal installations provide no tax base. "For fis cal year 1961 (July 1, 1960 to June 30, the amounts to which local districts are entitled 1961) under the law are ent running about 50/0 more than the pres appropriation request will cover.
