| Description | Originally from Florida, work with the Forest Service brought Craig Miller came to Utah. He decided to stay in Salt Lake City and became very interested in the local folk-dance scene. Through his folk-dance interest, he traveled throughout the state and began talking to diverse communities around the state about what they did and why. This spawned his love of folklore love and a new career. He worked as a state folklorist and arts administrator for the Utah Arts Council and their Folk Arts program. He worked with the Utah Humanities Council as a partner, gaining funding from this organization for various folklore projects he worked on throughout his career. |
