Description Description: Catlinite / pipestone ceremonial pipe with a carved and smoothed wood stem. Circa 1881, features an incised and resin filled 9 1/4" undulating snake followed by an 8" sinew bound horsehair bundle. The right angle bowl, incised and filled with a silvery residue features two snakes, one moving towards a heart, one away from a heart, three hoof tracks and "1881".. Width 8.89, Length 44.45 Centimeters
