Description |
Color scanned image of piles of silk thread representative of the Chiapa cultural embroidery for the traditional Chiapaneca dress. The colors represent the flora and fauna of Chiapas. Birds and flowers were popular items to embroider by the Zoque and they used colors that were found on the birds and flowers in the area. Now the Chiapaneca dress is mostly flowers. It was changed from a mix of birds and flowers to only flowers. |
